  • Account Owner: is the person who has full control over the account, including the ability to manage billing, grant and revoke access for other users, and make changes to all aspects of the account. If you are the Account Owner, you have the highest level of access in the account and can perform all of the following actions:
    1. Create and manage campaigns, ad groups, and ads
    2. Manage billing and payment information
    3. Grant and revoke access for other users
    4. Manage user access levels
    5. View performance data and analytics
    6. Set up automated rules and alerts
    7. Edit account settings and preferences
    8. Make changes to your ad targeting and bidding strategies
  • Administrative Access:Users with Administrative Access can manage all aspects of the Google Ads account, including campaigns, ad groups, ads, and billing information. If you have Administrative Access to a Google Ads account, you have the ability to perform all of the following actions:
    1. Create and manage campaigns, ad groups, and ads
    2. Manage billing and payment information
    3. Grant and revoke access for other users

    3. Set up automated rules and alerts
    4. View account settings and preferences
    5. View billing information, but not make any changes
  • Email-Only Access: This access can cannot view or make any changes to the account, but you can stay up-to-date on the performance of the account and receive notifications for important account activity.

 

How to give access to other users in Google Ads:

  1. Sign in to your Google Ads account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
  3. Select “Account access” from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click on the blue plus icon in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
  5. Enter the email address of the person you want to give access to.
  6. Choose the access level you want to grant (Administrative, Standard, or Read-only access).
  7. Click the “Send invitation” button.

The person you invited will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation and access the Google Ads account. If you want to revoke access for someone, you can do so by clicking on the name of the user in the Account access section and selecting “Remove access.”
